I have a back up copy of a PS2 game (which I own). However, the back up copy is pretty badly scratched and I want to make one more back up. Is it easier to copy the back up or the original and how do I do that (copy the back up - there are plenty of resources on this site to copy the original, all a bit confusing to me, but I can't see any advise for copying from a copy).
A working copy will copy the same as an original.
However a scratched or dirty disc can cause errors.
No matter whether its an original or a copy.
You will need a modchip or swap magic disks to play backups.
Use DVD decrypter to copy the disk (original or copy).
USE WHICHEVER IS IN BEST CONDITION.
And use this method.

1. Start DVD Decrypter

SOME GAMES HAVE TO BE RE-BUILT.
No matter what you have to re-build them.
There are guides all over about how to reb-uild each game.
Mostly though its only newer dvd9 games.
(godofwar,sw:battlefront,fifa street,nba street3,mercaneries,
the guy game.)
Why not start with other games that font need to be re-built,
until you get a little more familar with what your doing.
