how do you know if the VerbatimDVD's you are buying are goodquality MCC??

I'm currently using the Sony DVD's on that site, no errors so far (well a couple of coasters, but thats because i didn't know the Rumble Fish needed fiddling about with, wokrs fine now on a Sony DVD)

Verbatim now owns MCC.
You shouldnt run into any BRANDED verbatim that arent MCC.
Buying on the net you can recieve fakes.
I buy mine in store and they are always mcc.
Best buy has Verbatim 50 pk spindle (-r and +r) for 19.99.

Verbatim is top grade media.
Sony is Good but second class.

The following list is in preference order. The best discs are near the top of the list.

Almost flawless burns with 95-100% reliable results:
MXLRG01, MXLRG02 = Maxell = (-R) ... be aware of unbranded fakes
MCC = Mitsubishi Chemicals = (-R)<-----------------VERBATIM MY CHOICE #1
TAIYOYUDEN or YUDEN = Taiyo Yuden = (-R)<--------------FUJIFILM (made in japan) MY CHOICE #2

Decent discs, though not perfect, about 85-95%
success rate:

RICOHJPN = Ritek or Ricoh = (+R)
SONYD04 = Sony = (-R) ... be aware of unbranded fakes
