Problem After Joining Movie

I have joined my film (avi) succesfully using Virtualdub and it plays fine on my computer.

However, i followed the guide on here using DVD2SVCD to put the file onto DVD. Once i have got the IFO, BUP etc files i burn them using Nero.

When i play it on my DVD, only half the film is on the DVD.

Any idea what what wrong?
Should i use a different program?

Any help would be grateful.
