ok lets me start off saying this i am looking at buying a modchip for my xbox and i do know that i can not have it running while i play xbox live so i need to have it turned off and just play games that i rented or bought..... so on to the painfull part

what the hell does all this stuff mean( i dont know much about this stuff.. hell i am still waiting for my mod chip for my ps2 to come in (magic 3.1 pluse) ( this is my very first mod chip i figured i would fist chip my ps2 frist then go on to my xbox) so as you can tell i do not know much about all this stuff at all and when i look at all of this stuff i just get dumb struck cause i dont want to put something into my computer that i got no clue about..... oh and what is this i have read about changing your dashboard on the xbox if i did that wouldn't i not be able to log on to xbox live when the chip is turned off?????????????????????????????????????????? some one please help please
