I am having trouble with the Sony DRU-720A
I just upgraded from a liteon 851s to a Sony DRU-720A a with upgraded firmware
It and I tried to make a back up of a movie and after the clone DVD finish burning the movie I took it out of the DVD tray and look at the DVD it was Blanc.
The media type I m using is CompUSA X6 I don?t know the media code
can anyone help me please !!!

CompUSA disks are usually, Princo or Optodisk, which are not exactly quality media.

Thanks creaky, I finally got the hang of this sig stuff. As for CompUSA disks they are really not good, bought 10 to test a while back and half were coasters, just threw out the rest.

I agree with arniebear and creaky:

Storebrand media like compusa,staples,and the other larger stores are usually not recommended.Try a better quality media like maxell,taiyo yuden,ritek,sony 1x-8x,verbatim data life plus,or fuji.
