Does it matter if you make your backup games on DVD-R or DVD+R? Im going to use the Matix Infinity modchip. In the description it says it works with CD-ROM / DVD-ROM / DVD-ROM 9 / CD-R / CD-RW / DVD-R / DVD-RW / DVD+RW. It says nothing about DVD+R.

the kind of disc that you can use on your system depends on the system not the mod chip. If your system can read +r and -r then you can use either.

the Matrix Infinity should be able to read either. I like the -R better myself on any model from V5 on up.
