Anyone Do it i might start trying to do this im kinda good at soldering whats the hardest chip to install whats the easiest chip to in stall NOTE:i said CHIP and not Swap-Disk

personally i thought the crystal chip was a little hard to install, i install it in a slim ps2, with the laser fix that was sent along with the chip.

i took about three trys to to get it right, but the cc was worth the trouble

i think it's kinda easy, just practice on old mainboards or somthing and read tutorials about soldering. go here and you'll find tips about the ps2, including soldering http://www.cyber-mag.com/station/ps2.htm
