I just got a dvd burner and my computer is win98XP can anyone tell me what to download so I can get backups on games like splinter cell, god of war, and grand turismo.....I also have the hd loader and hdd if that helps plz....someone ???I currently have cucusoft avi-vcdor dvd and dvd to mpg and a dvd decrypter I just haven't tried them and I have wizard pro programs and ps2 patcher and dvd ripper encoder....plz If there are any certain programs i need or any info plz help

Burn at 2x max
Using DVD Decrypter
1. Start DVD Decrypter
2. Select Mode, go down to ISO Read
3. Select your Reader & Destination
4. ?Decrypt? the ISO Image to the Hard Drive
5. Wait for the ISO Image to be made
6. Select Mode, go down to ISO Write
7. Select the ISO Image file you made, click ?Open?
8. Select your Burner, Write speed & Burn the ISO
God of war,(and most newer dvd9 games)has to be re-built.
Or (if you're lucky), you may still have an old Gameshark laying around. The you can go fliptop and install a memorycard exploit (i.e. cogswap,hdloader). That would be a poor mans (me) solution.
what did you mean by the game shark thing ???can I copy with the hd loader if I have an older GAMESHARK???????cause I'm getting really mad at this hole backup thing I tried ordering a dvd burner through the mail and it didn't work and now that I have directions to the dvd burner I don't have a burner I would love to find out if the gameshark would work to backup games cause this sucks ass!!!!

Any DVD Burner should work just fine.
and don't bother trying God Of War or GT4, they are both dual layer games. You can copy them but unless you have a good modchip you will not be able to play them.
