I'm attempting to create a fan-edit of KILL BILL 1 & 2. Basically I'm re-editing the two movies, totalling 4 hours in length, into one linear movie of about 2 1/2 hours.

I've already made a rough version using DVD Decrypter and Mpeg Video Wizard, and am now re-doing it with better transitions between cuts. It might not be a masterpiece but I'm pretty happy with what I've achieved so far.

However, one thing that has me stumped is subtitles. There are a few scenes in the movie that are in Japanese with English subtitles. I can't see a way to incorporate those subtitles in my version using Mpeg Video Wizard straight from the decrypted DVDs. Is there a way?

As the subtitles are only on a few scenes, and are needed for those scenes (by me at least), I'm happy for the subtitles to be "burned" into the video. One possible way I can see of doing that is to use a program like AutoGK to create an .avi of the scene with the subtitles burned in and then use that file in Mpeg Video Wizard.

Is there a way to directly incorporate the subtitles using Mpeg Video Wizard? If not, is there a better workaround than the one I have suggested (using AutoGK)?

Any help would be much appreciated.
