i've got a dvd with music videos on it. is it possible for me to extract the only the audio from these VOB music video files and then burn those audio files onto an audio disc?

You can use DVD Audio Extractor. It is supposed to do what you need done:

I also Googled for : " extract audio from video DVD " and came up w/ a lot of sites
