lol Neph, that wasn't my pic of Traci Lords, but her name always brings back fond memories of my 12hour night shifts in late 80s/early 90s as let's just say we watched a variety of videos.

Which reminds me, one such nightshift we (the whole shift of us, including boss) were sat lounging in the office at some ungodly hour waiting for a (female) programmer to attend site. We didn't stop the video as we were waitin to hear the lift go so we'd know she was on her way in. However what we didn't know was that she'd gone straight to another floor to fetch the printouts for the Cobol program we'd called her in for.
So..... she appeared thru the fire door next to where we were sat, someone like Traci Lords was wailing full volume onscreen. Boss just sat there (feet on desk, next to the TV) dumbstruck as did we., Priceless !

sorry for long reply, but that was a classic that has very fond memories of li'l ole Traci :o

Nothing like those "Oh sh*t!" moments, eh?

Traci was definitely a little firecracker. You could tell she enjoyed her work :)

naw, if i remember she just laughed (think she was in her 40s), nice lady, but we were just sooo embaressed for ages afterwards. The scariest thing was that every night we had to go on raids around the building to find tv/video machines as you never knew where the tv or videos went during the day, and we were sooo lucky we never left a tape in any of those machines.

Traci was certainly a cheeky monkey, bless her

Hello friends... Man, I haven't had those darn jujubees in ages! I used to buy them all the time at the casino theater here in town. Do they still make those things?
LOL.. when we were kids, we used to throw them at the screen, lol!!!!
Jujubees, and also Good & Plenty's too; the Good & Plenty's were cool because they would glow in the bright light of the camera being projected onto the screen... they would glow like purple objects flying through the air.
Oh well; hey, I guess we were all kids at one time, lol... That was 40 years ago for me; how time flies!!

Good morning everyone... Good gosh; I re-read the post about the "jubblies". I think I mis-took the word "jubblies" for that candy called "jujubees", lol !!!! I guess I read that post too fast last night; I'm still cracking up here laughing about that!!
Oh well, they probably don't make those jujubees anymore anyways. If anyone doesn't know what they were, they were a tiny, gummy type candy... almost all movie theaters sold them at the candy concessions counter along with the popcorn and stuff.
We used to throw them at the screen to try to make them "stick" onto the screen and glow in the projected bright light, lol... That candy called "good & plenty's" was also great to throw around because they would glow a neat purplre color. Naughty me, lol....
I guess "boys will be boys"...hey, we were probably 10 or 11 years old. Those were the days....... Anyone else do stupid stuff like that???

Holy smokes..they still make 'em? Wow; I haven't seen those for years! I forgot to mention in my previous post; I would much rather prefer the "jubblies" as referenced above, lol. If I am correct in my interpretation of the term jubblies. ahem (cough)....
When you turn 50, you tend to loose track of the modern terminology that is used today.
Sure wish I were 21 again, lol... Oh well, it's nice to dream.

Hmm.. I guess I'm the guilty party here; although it was unintentional. It was late at night and I mis-read or misinterpreted that jubblies thing. I immediately thought of the candy and remembered some of the stupid things we did as kids.
I'll cease any more candy posts and refrain for a bit; no harm was intended. Take care everyone... Long live the jubblies!
