MC Exploit? and elves?

My problem:

I have a burnt copy of "USB Advance", a cracked copy of "USB Extreme". Because it's burnt, I have to use my slider every time...which is a real pain. However, I've been reading about this thing called a "MC Exploit" and .ELF files...

I searched and searched, but I'm still confused as to what those two are and how they could help me with my problem? What I'm tryin to do is pull off this "MC Exploit" with my "USB Advance" so I can load up USB Advance from my memory card instead of putting in the burnt copy of USB Advance every time and using my slider.

Sorry for sounding newbish, but honestly..I just need someone to help clear things up for me. I looked up the "How to make your own MC Exploit with Independence Installer" but that just confused me even more. and what are these .ELF files? could they help me?
