I'm sure that I could play Jap/Us Games with my PAL ps2 by installing DMS4 Pro. But, Could I play Jap/Us online-enabled games with HDLoader?

Thanks.

Supposely you cant play NTSC games online on a PAL ps2 unless you change the machine ID to a NTSC one. Which can be pretty dodgy i be finking

Playstation 2 ---- Matrix Infinity
Gamecube --------- Ninja Mod
Xbox 360 --------- Firmware Hack
Xbox-------------- Duo X2
PC---------------- Core 2 Duo e6850, 9800gtx, 4gig ddr2-8500, 780i Vista 64-bit

What If I use online patch then change the console ID by using Machine ID Changer? Would it work?

yes that would work but a fast connetion is needed to hae bearable play and you must change the machine id to an NTSC or JAP one to do this yes.

Im not entirely sure but I've read before that you need 'disc id utility' to get the dnas id from the original disc.

from what I know in japan they have to pay to play online but I'm not 100% sure on this. As far as playing NTSC games online on a PAL ps2 then yes you do have to change the machine id to an NTSC one but, this can't be done with any system over v7 as the new versions don't save the new ID after reseting the ps2 (and you have to reset the ps2 after you use the ID changing software) hope that helped.

P.S
playing a north american game online from europe might really lag if you don't have a good connection.
