alright i just now got an xbox if i wanted to put music on there from my computer what would i have to do. do i have to by software and stuff. or is there any way around that?

well, the original hard drive that comes with your xbox is very small for you to even put music on it. first of all, replace the hard drive with a bigger one like 120gb. but the you have to replace the dashboard and install a modchip if you are going to replace the hard drive.

Yes, you need a modchip that allows you the option to FTP the music to your UNLOCKED harddrive. The only other option I can think of is to burn the cd's onto a CD-RW that you know your XBOX will read.
