Hi, two days ago I got a iLo DVDR04, put in the hacked mods and it works great.

My question is and I did not see any mention of this in the users manual, what should I use to clean the ?heads? (not sure if that is the right term) ?.

I remember a while back on a CR-R\RW drive I had in my computer something was mentioned in that owners manual not to clean it, as that would shorten the life of that ?burner?, is that the case with the DVDR04 ?.

If one can clean this unit what should I use ?

Thanks for any advice, I?m new to recording DVD?s but catching on.
