single layer, but you have to delete some files for it to fit on the dvd. some files include update.xbe., etc..

you can pretty much delete all the xbe files in the root except for default.xbe. I've backed up Halo before but just don't remember which files I deleted. but if you look at the all the xbe files, then you can see the obvious files to delete.
