Is it hard to burn Avi and Mpeg files to Dvd+r/-r to be played on a dvd player??? Does nero provide easy access in doing this??? What programs or tools do I need to properly burn avi and mpeg files to a single dvd???

try vso's divxtodvd to convert it, then use copytodvd to burn it.

I found it very easy to use but be prepared...It takes time (hours sometimes) to convert to DVD format

is the quality good in the movies when burned to the dvd???

Read the paragraph labeled under: Lossy Compression?!

If your file was encoded with Divx/Xvid and was compressed, basically, you would not be able to regain some of the information that the original one had.

You might not notice anything, usually, but it may be kind of blurry if the file you used to convert was compressed.
