Is there software out there, free stuff, that will join two small vob files together? Can you just change from vob to mpg and join them together?

DVD Shrink should do this for you.

Open Shrink
Click on Re-author
Browse to your first VOB file
Click on it and drag it to the left window
Then browse for your 2nd VOB file
Click on it and drag it to the left window
You should now have 2 titles in the left window
Click backup!
