My dvd x copy platinum suddenly stopped working...I've changed nothing in my system, have used it successfully since Jan., and last week it just stopped working... most times the error in recording disc msg. is what I get, but several times errors have occured in copying from the original...(I've got version 4.0.3) please advise!

Have you got the latest firmware for your burner & when did you last "clean out" your PC? I like my platinum, but it can be rather fussy.

You need to know the EXACT model number of your burner, go to the website of the manufacturer. Do a search on their site for firmware.
