i am using nero 6 to burn a ripped movie that i encoded to mpeg and i have the files in the vob form and everything just as a real dvd would. I used nero express 6/nero burning rom 6 to burn a dvd video disc but when i add the files to the drag and add thingy, it tells me this when i click next: DVD-Video files compliance test failed. The resulting DVD-Video might be unplayable. Do you want to continue?

I tried just continuing once but the dvd player said this disc is unreadable. I searched everywhere but cant find an answer except in the nero website it says that if movies are pirated/ripped they lose there compliation or something like that. What should i do now??

Have you tried Nero Vision Express for your homemade compilation.

If these were .AVI files that you coverted you might try the thread below and use VsoDivxtoDVD. After encoding then use Shrink to compress if needed and Nero to automatically burn the compilation:

what i did is i downloaded this movie called friday after next. It is 697mb AVI. Then i found out that i couldnt burn a dvd with mpeg file so i converted the AVI to VOB files using VsoDivxtoDVD. Now when i try to burn the files, it says DVD-Video files compliance test failed. The resulting DVD-Video might be unplayable. Do you want to continue? I went to the Nero site and it told me that the reason this message comes up is because pirated video loses its compliance once authorized. so... yea i dont know what to do ill check out that thread u showed me but still leave comments if you can. Thank You
