I've downloaded the DVD Shrink and DVD decoder and got them to work perfectly. Thanks a million. But I've been trying to get the decoded film to play from my hard drive on my laptop. What else do i have to do to get it to play on my laptop? I've tried searching the threads on the site but can't find anything. Thanks.

open up your iso in DVD Shrink,click file/open iso disc image.When you click backup on DVD Shrink, in the select target dropdown,chose hard disc folder.

Cheers jim_danny that works a treat. Is there anyway to reduce the file size down further? I met someone a while ago who hand a palm pc with a 1Gb memory card who said they could put movies onto that memory with room to spare? Any ideas....
You can convert dvd to mpeg1 but that is usually over 1gb.You can give this guide a try,dvd to divx,it usually produces a movie around 600 to 700 mb's.Ive never used this guide, but it looks like everything involved is freeware.Its very time, and hard drive, consuming, however.
