How do you author vob and get a new menu

I ripped my DVD to my HD, its ok. I have 3, one hour series or so. Each one of them has a smaller Vob with it and the BUP's and IFO's etc Plus the video bup and ifo. The problem is when you play the DVD the stories play one right after the other, no other choice, plus it auto starts with the first story. I would like it when it finishes a story, to stop and goto a menu selection and also allow you to start from menu so you can select which program (story) that you want to see first. So how do I do this?
