i just installed my fliop top on my ps2, to load anything period i have to put a book on top of my ps2 or it makes a loud whizzing noise and won't load anything at all, the swap magic 3.6 discs load but theb it says insert a ps2 formatted disc. i used dvd-r's(fuji) and i burned it with dvd decryptor

make sure that the disc is in properly when you swap. There is a little ridge on the left side of the fliptop that the disk gets caught on. When you swap you should be able to tilt the disc back and forth on the spindle. Just check the left side when you swap. It took me a while to figure out why mine wasn't working. After you swap, if you push the eject button and the disk gets caught then it is not in right.
