NO MOD SERVICE LINKS IN SIGS!

I'm noticing way too many sites pimping their services here so to make it real easy on myself here's what I'm going to do: anyone who puts a link to a mod site in their sig or any other sort of advetising will have their entire post deleted and/or be banned. Simple as that.

Ad space on our site can be purchased here so don't be a cheapskate!

This should apply to all right? Including the moderators here that have teammodders in there sig. Or if I add a forum to my site I can then put a link in my sig again. Or is after dawn in cahoots with teammodders and unfairly letting them advertise here and no one else is allowed to.

Thanks for clearing this up for us all as its very confusing how some members its ok to have mod services in their sig and not others.

Most forums realize that mod installers are a great benefit to the forum and assist in helping many of the members and dont mind a small sig with references to there service as long as what they contribute to the forum is helpful and not just blatant spaming.

But when the mods are only allowed to have mod services in their sig it appears that some one has there hands in some one elses pockets. If this is the case that is fine as its obviously not my forum but if this is the case let us know so we can stay clear of a forum that is biased

I did not mention you or the admin's. My comments are in general about AD and its policies here which I cant change but wanted to bring to light.

Also sarcasm? There was no sarcasm ... everything I posted is true and has meaning. If the members that come to this site for help come here looking for unbiased solutions that is hard to do with mods that are allowed to advertise there service of choice with out allowing other TRUE modders to do the same.

You will loose a very beneficial asset to this forum by banning me and the other modders. We help and arent here just to round up business. We (like the beloved teammodders) are also hobbyists that like to help out when we can and a little kick back such as a small link to our sits in our sigs shouldnt be considered a problem to anyone..... that is of course that "anyone" is offended that these sigs are encroaching on there own promotions/dealings/business.

Its quit obvious what is going on here and mybe the admins will be wise enough to see the light and either enforce this rule for all ... or the more wise thing to do would be allow a small .... not in your face .... logo/link with our mod service in the sig.

Dont be so closed minded to this and you can a least be fair if you cant be understanding.

I already told you - I don't have authority over what other Mods do.

Then what is the problem? Why are the rules so hard to follow? Advertising is not allowed in the forums. PERIOD. Yeah funny thing is ... is that the forums own mods are allowed to have ads for mod services. So yeah your right an admin should inforce the rules of there site and make it fair for all the users here at AD and it will be a much more happy place for all with all the anoying ads.... since you dont have the "power" to do it yourself.
