please help with slim ps2 dms4 lite toxic bios

How do i boot the bios? I see instructions for the regular ps2.(wait until blue light on eject button comes on then press reset 3 times)There is no blue light on the eject button on the slim ps2. I just got the slim ps2 dms4 lite today and I have been trying to boot the bios for 3 hours now. I don't have nero so i used both alcohol and dvd decrypter to burn the bio image. Please help!

If you're flashing the chip for the first time, then you don't need to be hitting the reset buttons. Just fire up that ps, put the bios disc in, and the browser should come up showing you have a ps disc in. Just hit x and the toxic screen will come up and follow the instructions.
