Hi people, I have finally succeeded downloading GT4 via Bitlord after 4 weeks of waiting...
Now I am going to burn it to a Sony DVD-R with Alcohol 120% in Mode 2/XA and see if it really works or if this was a total scam.

This is a 2.5GB versin from livetorrents.com
I am using a Messiah mod-chip... In the meantime I burned the game with Alcohol 120% and guess what, the game freezes after loading the Intro screen

Now I don't know if I'm doing something wrong in burning or the game is just corrupted and there is no fix for it.

Any additional info about alternate burning methods would be greatly appreciated

Probably the image contains only 1st layer of the DL DVD.

I was reading the GT4 official thread and it seems that i have to have somekind of a patch to bypass dvd checks when booting up the game. They say it has only been done by now using HDLoader and a special mod chip released by Team TOXIC...so the gt4 usa dvd5 version remains unusable for all of us who have messiah,swap magic,dms 3 chip etc.

I only hope that someone will be able to crack the game soon enough since I don't want to spend money for the original.

I downloaded my copy from livetorrents.com via Bitlord client software
In the search box just enter Gran Turismo 4 and you will get the direct download link...
If the page doesn't load, refresh it a couple of times or try to open it later.
