JAK 3, patching and hd advance

in order to use jak 3 on hd advance, i need to patch it..so i copied it to my computer using dvd decrypter. then i patched the the jak3 iso, then burned it onto a dvd+r, started up hd advance and tried to put it on, but it said that disc inserted is not valid...can someone help me out with what im doing wrong?

im really new to all this stuff...so sorry if this is dumb question.
