1ST OF ALL R THERE ANY TELLTALE SIGNS THAT I HAVE A MATRIX INFINITY CHIP
INSTALLED BECAUSE ALTHOUGH I WAS TOLD IT WAS HOW DO I KNOW 4 SURE

BECAUSE I WANT TO UPDATE THE FIRMWARE TO 1.4 BUT IT ITS NOT A MATRIX INFINITY IT MIGHT KILL IT.

SECONDLY I HAVE THE 1.4 FIRMWARE READY TO BURN AND I USE NERO TO BURN MY THINGS BUT I CANT SEEM TO FIND " BURN A CD-ROM ISO " CAN SUM1 PLEASE POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.

AND LASTLY IF MY CHIP IS A MATRIX INFINTY AND I UPDATE THE FIRMWARE TO 1.4

WILL IT AFFECT ANYTHIN AT ALL E.G WILL IT BE AS IT WAS B4 I UPDATED IT

All i know is if your current setup works why change it. Also youll probably be grilled by the Moderator soon for typing in caps. I think a read of the rules is needed here that is considered shouting. Sorry i couldnt help a bit more.

If you can't figure it out any other way, there is really not that much involved if you just open up your unit and look at the chip.
