Hey, im new to ripping dvds and im doing a school assignment on visual effects and on a number of dvds they have special features on how the effects were created, i know i cant just simply copy these using vhs due to macrovision. But i desperately need them. Im using an imac and i really need to know how to rip video off dvds into a quicktime file so i can simply use and edit it like that. What software do I use, where can I get it, and how do I do it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We have the only DVD ripping package for Mac that I know, here:

...it's probably not as flexible as Windows solutions are, but you should be able to do at least something with it :-)
