yes, you probably need to use cd loader too. You are talking about a burnt copy of hd loader right?

Yeah, you really don't need a mod chip in order to put a backup game onto your hard drive, you just need to do the swap method. I would think you could use Swap to boot up hd loader, but I am not sure on that...
