NEED HELP PLEASE--GAMES

Hi, I'm new to the forum and need help installing some games on my v220. I have the PST 7.1.1 and the midway 2.8 files and of course the usb cable. The problem I'm having is that everytime I try to load a game to my fone, midway says"connecting to phone..timer expired, d/l canceled. This is what I do, if I'm doing it wrong please let me know.
1. Open midway
2. Choose game
3. Open java setting on phone
4. Select java app loader
5. Says insert cabel now, I do so
6. Says JAL is active
7. Click send game to phone on midway
8. That is when it says timer ran out.
Is there something I'm missing?? Please help. I have tons os .jad games to share with anyone who helps me. Thanks.
