On a standard 80min CD, you will be able to Overburn a little bit, eg up to 90min *Maybe*, but if you this could stuff up your CDRW drive, as well as not play fully on some devices.

You cannot get 2G on ONE CD, you would need to use like 3 CD-R's, which in that case your better off getting a DVDRW drive and burning onto DVD's

You could use VirtualDub to chop the files into 700 MB chunks to be put on multiple CDRs.

Just a thought - CDRs are still good for audio CD backups.

I just wrote a post about fitting 115 min onto a CD-RW, read that, or otherwise try using a mode2 cd burning app.

what is mode2 >?<
well mode2 is a special mod. to the cd writing world. y'know all the error protection on the cd, well that takes up space, which is why when you get a small scratch, the cd is still playable. i'm not sure how overburning works, but with a mode2, the error protection is significantly lowered (meaning an higher care for the disk is required). this increases the amount of space available on the disk, but as you can see it has greater advantages than disadvantages.
my thread was made at:
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/1/192915#1054816

for mode2 programs you should be able to find them on:
http://www.doom9.org
(thats where i found them) if you try making one post info about your results thanx...
if you require any further info about anything relating to this or anything at all, just send me a private message...
