I just go thru installing the Matrix Infinity chip in my v4 PS2. I got everything put back together and all original games work fine. So now I have downloaded the firmware 1.39 to flash the chip. I burned the image file to a cd, but the PS2 will not respond to it. The cd rom runs it but says to insert a Playstation or a PS2 disc. Does anyone know what is wrong? Please help

Thanks for all the help.........

Assuming that your install went ok, I'd say it may be the way you burned the flash to the cd. Now I don't know about the Matrix, but I'm using the DMS and when I burned the Toxic flash, I used Alcohol 120 and selected "Burn an Image". If you just try to burn the flash as regular "data", it wouldn't work. I hope this might help you somewhat.
