Ok. I've recently bought a Panasonic DMR E55 DVD Recorder. After recording a programme to DVD-R I have transfered the contents of the DVD to my PC (various vob, ifo and bup files)

All i wish to do is edit out about 2 minutes at the beginning of the recording and a few seconds at the end.

This recording is 45 minutes long and has been divided up into 4 1 gig vob files by the recorder itself. I've used Womble Mpeg Video Wizard to trim the neccesary excess at I-Frame level and saved as an Mpeg file with no re-encoding seemingly neccessary.

My problem is that when viewed with a DVD viewer (such as WinDVD) there is a noticeable 'jump' between vob files and with the jump comes a slip in the sync. I'm sure I'm doing things right and I've tried over and over again.

Is it a problem with Womble Mpeg Video Wizard or is it me.

I also have DVDlab, TmpgEnc Author and DVD Decryptor if they can help me.
