All,
Very new to all things DVD however had a genuine need to back up a DVD-ROM disc (to save money we have only one set of disks as opposed to many licenses!!).
Now I do actually mean DVD-ROM and not DVD-MOVIE. Unfortunately the common term for the drive is also DVD-ROM and there the phrases "wood" and "trees" come to mind.
If a use DVD Decrypter I get the full 5.7 Gb of data off but I cannot seem to put it back onto a blank DVD as it isn't big enough.
Is there anywhere on this forum or elsewhere where I can get specifics about copying data?
Thanks

You can try DVD Shrink after you use decrypter it will send it to a pre determined file. I always make a folder and use it as my destination. Then opem shrink and drag that file and it will shrink it enough to fit on a 4.7 no lose of quality. Any way in stead of me explaining this try this see if it works for your dvd-rom. http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/reccomended.html You Can get DVD Shrink by clicking on the word <--- back there. Good luck ---zen--->
