i bought some ridata at meritline.com and it says that i burn at 1x-4x but it really doesn't ...the lowest that it burn is 2.4x ....so I really need to find some cheap Ridata 4x DVD+R that burns at 1x !!! thanks

Hi there,

Maybe the slowest speed that your drive can do is 2.4x with DVD+R.

Look up the specs on your DVD Burner...

My DVD Burner does 2x on DVD-R and 2.4x min on DVD+R. (I think, never used DVD+R yet)...

It will not support 1x on any of the medias !

check newegg.com. I am not a big fan of ridata. But they have a 100 cake for 34.00. 16 x rated. Just burn them slow. I had issues with them so becareful
