in the last part with get vts sectors which file do i click the ts or the vob file. I also found that it only took the movie down about 1.3 gb. Is that all it reduces it by?

A 1.3 GB size reduction sounds about right, but it varies from one movie to another. It depends on how much information besides the video for the movie and the audio track you select is in the titleset.
