Hi I`m new to all this, i have a dvd of a friends comedy act which is about 40 minutes long, i would like to cut it down to about 10 minutes in length, can anybody give me advice on how i go about it, what software would i need etc. The dvd is video ts and audio ts files this is about my limit of no how.

You could possibly use DVD Shrink in reauthor mode and use the start/end frame feature.

Guides and software are available using appropriate tabs at the top of this page.

You do have a fair bit of homework to do first - the search tab is also useful to explore previous threads/discussions.
