Ok i am using hd advance 1.0 from a MC exploit. My Ps2 stuffed up and i was wondering if i buy USB extreme and a IDE TO USB cable would i be able to use my Existing hdd with the USB extreme software i dont care if i have to format it as there isnt many games on it. if you have any further questions please email me Butiamcool@hotmail.com

i don't know if there is such a thing, and you would still need power for the hd. You can buy an external hd enclosure and use that though.

There is such a thing as that link suggests.

As sly_61019 says you still would need a form of power for the hdd and the only way for that is to buy a hdd enclouse. Have a look on ebay for those, there only like $20 or less.

The third thing is I thought PS2 USB ports only support USB 1.1, which that cable does not, so it wouldnt work anyway.

Oops sorry you do get power with it.

But there is still the USB 1.1 to 2.0 issues

if you can get it for that cheap, its worth a shot. You could probably put usb exteme on your memory card also.

Nah i decided that i will just buy a GC as they are cheap now and i like sum of the games that nintendo offers.
