CD-R recorded using Power Producer-can't save and send as email???

I burnt photos and audio on to CD-R using Power Producer and I am having trouble saving it to my computer or attaching it as an email. Whenever I put the CD in the drive it automatically plays it in either Power producer or Power DVD however without the disk it won't play it at all(except for as a project in Power producer) Normally with other video footage etc it will allow me to open with a different program and save it on my computer. Can anyone help me with this???? All I want to do is send it via email : (
