I figured out how to turn an MP3 into a ring tone and even upload it on my phone...but I need to know how to change the attributes (or whatever I need to do) so that it will show up when I try to set a ring tone for a whole group (under phone book then categories on my phone). I have a V220 phone and I'm using P2K. I've already tried changing the attributes on there, but nothing works.

go to settings , audio ,ring detail and pick you tone in the phone menu

thanks, but I don't want to make it the ring tone for ALL calls...just for a certain group

in your phonebook hit the menu button , edit then for what ever person you want to add the ringtone to and scroll down to ringer id and select the song or tone

I have to set the tone for every person in the group? With my other ring tones I can just set one tone for a category ("Friends" for example) and whenever anyone in that group calls it will play whatever tone I wanted.

the ring tone that I put on my phone doesn't show up at all in the ringer ID menu for me to select. I was asking how can I get it to show up?

open the P2Kman,,, plug ur fone, get connected,, go to a/mobile/audio delete two files that end with .db then restart ur fone,,,, and off u go :D :D
