I seem to be able to copy original games that i have with nero cd-to-cd-copy but I tried to download tekken and it seems that the images that I burn won't boot. I have to re-iso the image with winiso and I burn the iso file but still it won't boot. Any suggestions except that i should not download my games but buy them.

what mod do you use?
V9 PS2, flip top, SMD, DVDLoader
Pioneer 107, ritek g05
DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, Nero |

what type of file is it?
the one that you start with?
and if you are using swapmagic,you know you cannot boot ps1 games with these disc's right?

I'm using the matrix infinity mod chip. Other games I own, that I have copied with Nero and the original disk, work but downloaded games not. I don't know the names of the files because i erased them. Maybe it is the wrong format of psx files that they spread on the net?

there are certain files which you get which can only be burnt with the programs in which they were created with,like clone cd,
just out of interest,is this the first ps1 game you have tried to boot??
as you may have to put the ps2 in ps1 mode(matrix infinity)
as i have messiah 2 installed,and that is what i have to do(hold eject for 2/3 secs)

I tried with other games that I didn't download but they work.I just had to insert the ps1 disc and it autoboots. The format was bin and then I converted it to iso with winiso to iso and then burnt it with Nero because Nero only supports .nrg, .iso and .cue. The weird part is that the bin was 653 mb or so and the cue was 600kb or so and normally it's the other way around, or am i wrong?

And it seems i can't make a copy of a ps1 copy with Nero.

you are wrong,
bin is the biggest file,and i always burn them with DVD Decrypter,
of which also (i think supports nrg file types)
cue is exactly what it says "a cue file",just a lead file
so why dont use just burn the bin file with DVD Decrypter??

I was wrong though. The copying seems to work because i was using the wrong media but now i'm trying to make a backup to dvd-r but the paystation 2 thinks it's a dvd(video)
