ok, so i read thru the entire offical GOW thread and, even though it says 'This fix does not work for use on a HDD only ', i saw a lot of replies about the hdd (either hdloader, hdadvance, etc)
but i couldnt find an exact answer.

so, is there a way for GOW to work with hd advance?

there is a patch floating around on torrent and newsgroup sites, try searching in there to get the patch to play on hdd
