I'm very new to setting up surround sound on my PC. I have Logitech X-530 5.1 speaker system I just got. I have PowerDVD 6. I know how to get the surround sound to work. I just have a question on settings. I go to the audio section and have the 6 speaker selection setup. There are three settings to choose from for the Output Mode. "No Effect", "CLMEI-2" and "Dobly Pro Logic IIx". What is the difference between these? Which is best?

I've tried these out on various DVDs. When I put a DVD with Dolby Surround. When I select either the CLMEI-2 or Dolby Pro Logic I get the same result, center channel being used for dialogue and music from the other. Only with CLMEI I get the dialogue out of all the front speakers and it's a little louder.

Also when I put in a movie with Dolby 5.1 I get only the CLMEI and No Effect choices. Which is right to use for full Dolby 5.1? Sorry if these questions sound real stupid.
