flashing BIOS problem

i downloaded the XBIT flash software, both the V1.0 and V1.5(XP platform). When i try and use V1.0 i get an error saying "Error reading CMD_GET_STATUS reply" and I'm not sure what that is telling me. And when I try and connect with the V1.5(XP platform) it doesnt connect at all. I can click on the button a million times and it wont do anything. Am I doing something wrong, or is it my chip installation. Can someone please help.

best thing to do is to use slayers evox auto installer... it has the option to flash bios and install dash all from one disc.... download from the usual places create an xiso and boot from cd.... this should do the trick
