Hi,

Just backed up Harry Potter and the prisoner of azkaban and every so often skips forward a couple of seconds.

Is this a common problem?

Or would doing a new copy sort it out?

I used DVD Decrypter to rip it and DVD Shrink to get it on a DVD-R

Intial suspects would be poor quality media or the use of labels on your copy.

You need to provide much more detailed information e.g. - media being used, burn speed, computer specs etc.

That is a very large movie. I did main-movie only using DVD Shrink and Nero.

Major compression can cause that issue-specially in poor quality media.

Along with colw stated, add in multi-tasking/fragmented hard drive/too fast of burn/ and many other possibilities. Usually it is the media quality.
