I ve been backing up movies for a bit now, but I rarly double check them when I'm done. Last week I pop in one of my backups and close to the end it started breaking up, freezing and skiping. I check some more and 10 are the same but alot are fine. I'm using clonedvd 2 and anydvd. Also I use Verbatim dvd-r and my burner is a sony DRU-710A. Is there anything I'm doing wrong or not doing? you could lower the output size of the files in shrink(if thats what you use0 so it dosent go all the way to the end. some people have had problems with that.
I don't have clonedvd2 but if possible try decreasing the target size to 4300-4350 mb. Also what is the media code of your verbatums? Use this free proggy. http://dvd.identifier.cdfreaks.com/ Verbatums made by MCC = good, those made by CMC = bad. I also use verbatums but I always buy the datalifeplus's.
