mini 8cm dvd-r optodisk problems

I'm having trouble being able to make copies of these. I recorded onto these with my home camcorder and now when I try to copy these onto a full size 4.7gb dvd-r, im getting a crc error. Are these disks just crap? and if so what can I do to try and make some copies onto regular sized dvd-r's?
