i have an .avi file that i'm trying to burn to a vcd using nero. the .avi file is in the widescreen format when i'm watching it on the computer, but it streches out when i play it on the t.v. is there any way to keep this from happnening? I would like to view to video on my t.v. with the black bars on the top and bottom; either that or crop the sides of the screen to make it fit better. thanks

also, what's the difference between mpeg1 and mpeg2? thanks
