Hi everyone. I am a bit new to the world of Xbox, I recently switched to Xbox from being a primarily Psone/Ps2 gamer before. I am interested in Softmodding my Xbox for playing backups. I have no need for Xbox live features as that I don't ever expect to be doing any online gaming.

I am curious if anyone would be willing to take the time to point me out a good guide to look at for soft modding my Xbox and if anyone could offer advice of what I should look into getting - i.e. components, software, etc for doing it right. I'd prefer this rather than blindly stumbling around and running here screaming hellllllllllllllllllllp!!!!!!! over some lame newb mistake that could be easily preventable.
